Content Design

Systems Design

Over many published games, I have designed and balanced:

Writing

I have written names and descriptions for all forms of content. I have also written the text (including dialogue) for missions and tutorials for published games. I have worked closely with VO directors and actors on the recording of VO lines.

Localization

I have worked closely with outsourced localization teams, resolving questions around the intention of lines and possible alternate translations. I’ve created and managed localized text databases, integrating revised text into the game. I’ve managed phoneme and viseme data for localization for lip synch across languages. With QA experience for at least the FIGS languages, I am fluent enough in those languages to navigate through software.

Soft Skills

Leadership

I have been the sole designer on game projects before, I have helped recruit and interview other designers (both junior and senior. I have created design tests and many questions for interviews in different formats. I have managed multiple designers at a time, managing both workload and professional development.
